How to reach the city of Arezzo.

By car

Highway: A1 exit Arezzo. The city can be reached in a few minutes along the motorway link.

State roads: SS73 from Valdichiana, Siena, Grosseto, Sansepolcro. SS71 Umbro-Casentinese from Casentino, Stia, Forlì, Valdichiana, Cortona, Lake Trasimeno, Perugia. SS69 from Valdarno, Pontassieve, Figline, Montevarchi.

By train

The Arezzo railway station is located along the Bologna-Rome line and is served by daily connections from Florence, Rome, and the rest of Italy.

TFT (Tuscany Railway Transport) manages the Arezzo-Sinalunga and Arezzo-Stia lines.

 

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport

By car: A1 motorway towards Rome with the Arezzo exit.
By train: from Firenze Santa Maria Novella towards Rome.

From Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport

By car: A11 motorway to Florence then A1 to the Arezzo exit.
By train: from Pisa Airport to Florence Santa Maria Novella; from Florence SMN towards Rome.
